A7N8X - Sound Problems

I had to reinstall XP Professional and now the sound doesn't work on the mobo.

I'm obviously missing steps must not sure what they are.

HELP would be appreciated.

Do I need to uniinstall and reinstall drivers for sound using ASUS system CD?

yeah, i had that problem, i somehow fixed it by installing them again

early nVidia refernce drivers did not support sound on a7n8x, now fixed with the latest refernce.
