A7N8X Only 1.75 Vcore With DLTC ???

I am posting this for a friend of mine.With his Asus A7N8X mobo and 1700+ DLTC CPU the 1.5V version he can only set the vcore on his Asus mobo up to only 1.75V.The DUTC chip he had with the default vcore of 1.6V he can can go past 1.75V.Anyone with this board know why he can't apply more than 1.75V with the DLTC ?.
