A7N8X Memory Question

Currently I'm in the market for cheap Ram. I'm running 2 - 256mb PC2700 Ram in the Dual Channel slots. So I want to add a 512 stick in my open slot. Now would it be smarter for me to buy PC3200 Ram and run it (if possible) at the slower speed of 2700? I ask this because I figure 3200 is as cheap as 2700, and the re-sale capability of 3200 would be better for me if I ever wanted to sell it, or upgraded my motherboard.
