How y'all doing? Got a question about BIOS setting with the A7N8X. First off any tips to get a little more performance from bios settings? I am running the Rev2.0 of the board with 1 GB Pc2700 and a 2800+ as well as a radeon 9800 Pro. When it posts it says the Memory frequency is 166 Dual Channel. Is this what it should be at? or should it be high? thanks

Welcome to the forums. I take it that you have not adjusted any of the settings yet. Before you start tweaking things, I would recommend that you become familiar with the reset CMOS jumper on the boardl. I've needed to reset it several times myself.

Yeah, that memory frequency sounds right, and in the menu the memory speed should be 100% of the FSB speed, always. Also, set all the settings to aggressive or define them yourself. That should get you started. Peace.
 
My A7N8X-Deluxe states 166MHz dual-channel when running at PC2700 speed (which is what I use with my 2500+), but since it's a double-pumped bus, the effective speed would indeed be 333MHz.
 
There are alot of tweaks you can do. Your best bet is to use google. They show at least 25 sites to read up on it and plus just above this thread is one encapsulating your board....
