When i start up my system, and the memery check thing occurs, it says im running the RAM in single channel mode. Does anyone know how to get it to dual channel mode? I checked in the BIOS and i didnt see anything... Also ... the RAM is currently in the 2 slots that are next to each other, non in the alone channel. please help me! thanks!

There is no "setting" in the BIOS to make it work. You need to have your RAM sticks in the right slots, as perversed as that sounds. Read your motherboard manual or just try different combos. I'm pretty sure you'll want them in slots 2 and 3 or else 1 and 3. Good luck.

Move one stick to another slot.

If it doesn't show dual channel, put that stick back where it was and move the other one to where you put the first one. :D

If you have 3 slots.

If you have four slots, put the 2 sticks in the same color slots.

I think. :D

You have to be running an identical pair of modules. Look at the four RAM slots on the board. You'll see that there are two of each color (usually blue/black). Choose one color, and put your RAM modules into the slots of that one color.
