I recieved my 2 new Samsung PC3200 dimms today. Hoped to increase my memory benchmark results significantly, by enabling the nforce2 dual channel DDR feature.
But it fails. Almost no advantages in SiSoft Sandra. :(
Nearly the same result, as with only one dimm.

Very disapointing...

Any comments ?

Are you using the correct memory sockets? I just set up this same motherboard, and if I recall, the manual said that in order to take advantage of the dual-channel feature, memory must be in Sockets 1 & 3, Sockets 2 & 3, or sockets 1, 2, & 3. That means, if you use sockets 1 & 2, you will not be using dual channel.

I tried each possibility.
2045/1965 is not that much.

2x Samsung PC3200 @ 444 MHz 3/3/3/5 timings
Athlon XP2100+
A7N8X Deluxe
newest bios

The RAM needed to benefit from this must be running in the slots mentioned and be running/set at Cas2T....so back off the FSB speed as Sammy's, Crucials and others are Cas 2.5T

I'm getting rather low scores as well. Running @ 133 FSB and the memory in sync, I get 2085/1975 using 2,2,2,5 timings ( 2 x 256MB Crucial PC2100 ). I've updated the drivers with no effect.
