A7N8X Dlx 1.04 --> A7N8X Deluxe 2.0, do i need to reinstall?

If I did this switch would I have to reinstall windows again? Thanks for your time.

You never have to reinstall actually. Just go into the device manager, change the IDE controller to a Standard IDE controller and then shut down, change motherboards and boot up. It should detect the actual IDE controller and if it doesn't go change it manually.
