A7N8X Deluxe won't boot from raid controller

I have had my board laying around for almost a month and I finally get enough time to do the upgrade but I can't boot up off of the raid controller.

I have 2 80 gig drives hooked up to the raid using SATA to PATA converters. I also have a SCSI card installed that has 2 CDROMS hooked to it. I can't find a setting in the bios to boot from the SATA controller. I currently have just the 2 drives hooked up. I have a 120 Gig that has all my info that I need to put back on the raid. Then I will be pulling it to put in my new 160 Gig drive.

I have went through the xp pro install with no problems. When windows goes to reboot I get an error stating " windows could not start because of a computer disk configuration hardware configuration problem". I have seen the pointer to nforcehq in the stickey thread but I keep getting an error. I am assuming the server is down.

The real bummer here is I was debating weather to use the 160 Gig 8 Meg cache or my 2 80's RAIDed. I bought the adaptors and opted for the speed of RAID. Now I can't boot off of the onboard raid. This is really pi$$ing me off. I was hoping to have this thing going by morning.

Please help me!

Edit/
I am really hating the fact that I didn't spend the extra $30 on a raid controller over the price of the 2 sata adaptors I bought. nforcehq is up now but I haven't found any help there yet. The only thing I found didn't help. I moved the scsi card from slot 2 to slot 4 and it was no help.
