I just installed a A7N8X Deluxe motherboard in a MMNY Case with Xtreme 400watt power supply, PNY DDR 333 256MB, ATI all-in wonder Radion video card. Before installing hard drive, dvd burner from old computer I powered up unite with just board installed, video card and memory. It booted up fine, I went into bios and set smart monitering for cpu and enabled quite fan. Everything seemed OK except hardware monitor in bios didn't show fan rpm for secondary fan I had installed (with three wire for monitering) The CPU and fan are retail version, case has two extra fans besides power supply. Since it powered up ok I moved my Maxtor 120GB hard drive, and tdk DVD+RW drive to computer. When I powered up I get nothing, the green light comes on fans all run but no post beeps or anything else. I tried using a Antec 300watt power supply, tried using a PC 2100 Cruical DDR, different ATI AGP video card still nothing. The fact I get not post beeps has me at a loss as to what the problem is. Any input would be welcome.

Since all your trouble started when you added the harddrive and DVD, try removing them and see if you can get back to where you were. If that succeeds, add the harddrive, if that succeeds add the DVD. If you can't get back into the BIOS after removing the drives, I would guess you just got a bad board.
