Recently built a machine with ASUS A7N8X-Deluxe motherboard.
Installed Windows XP Pro.
When I click on Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections
I see the following:
Beneath the Lan or High Speed Internet, I see the 1394 Connection
Beneath the Network Bridge I see:
Network Bridge (Network Bridge) 2 Enabled
AND Local Area Connection Enabled, Bridged NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Adapter
I'm not clear as what the "bridge stuff" is and I don't see the other LAN connection (which if I understand correctly for the ASUS mobo, has two LAN ports NVIDIA and 3COM, and the one that I don't see is the 3COM port. Should I see it? If so, how do I make it visible?
An one care to explain what I have and under optimal conditions, what I should see?
