The ACR sound card that comes with this motherboard has 3 sets of outputs, Front, Rear, and Center sub. I have not been able to find a speaker system with this combination of inputs. Ok, the Front and rear are pretty straight forward but, assuming that the center/sub output is a stereo jack, which is center and which is sub? Is there a 5.1 speaker systeme designed for this type of output?
Currently to get the sound on this board to work with WCIII I have had to disable the MCP Dolby Digital controler. It is not clear to me why I should have to do this. Could this imply a hardware failure?
OR
Since I am running Win98se are the Nvidia drivers for this board simply not optimised for my OS?
Any help in the form of direct answers or links to sites with info would be very much appreicated.
