I have a LG 52X cd-rom running as master off the secondary ide. But the bios configures the drive as PIO Mode 4 instead of UDMA-33. If I change this manually, I get a secondary IDE device failure.
Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? I'm using a UDMA-66/33 cable, and everything else is working fine.
