A7M266 refuses to turn on

Ok, I just put together a board based off a A7M266. The board has power, the indicator LED on the board lights up but when the power button is pressed nothing happens. I'm talking nothing, no beep signal and the fans don't kick on. What gives? The powersupply is a 330 watt enermax so it should have plenty of power. Anyone else ever run into this?

sounds like power switch connector reversed or mismatched one pin
i would try a cmos dump, immediately go into bios reset defaults if it starts
could also be something not seated all the way in

Polarity for switches doesn't matter.

It sure does sound like the switch not connected to the correct pins. Are you positive it is connected to the right ones.

I should stop building systems late at night. Yes I was stupid and hooked the switch to the wrong pins. Ugh, that was a stupid mistake.
