This is the first machine that I've ever built, so please bear with me.

I built a box (parts list below), and aside from a couple of minor windows 98 installation problems, the machine ran great. Then weird things started happening. First, I began seeing small pixels flickering on the screen while playing Undying. Then, the machine would lock. When I rebooted it, the machine would post, but not boot all the way back to the desktop; instead, it would get through the post and memory check, spin the hard disk, and then restart yet again. But after a couple runs of that, it booted to the desktop and things ran normally.

Yesterday, however, it went completely to hell. The machine simply restarted in mid-application, and then the bios reset the frequency to 100 mhz. In looking around in the bios, the only thing that I could find wrong was that in the hardware monitor of voltage, the setting that's supposed to be at +3.3 volts was running at about 2.8 or 2.6. Of course, I could not look at the bios long b/c after about 2 secs the screen began flickering, and the machine would do its on/off dance again.

Now, I can't get to the BIOS. I turn on the machine, the hard drive spins, the power and HD LEDs go on and they don't go off. I can't turn the machine off without using the power supply switch in the back. The machine simply will not post.

Has anyone had an experience like this with this board?

is your powersupply going bad? if the board is reading correctly then something is wrong because the power supplied to the motherboard really should be closer to 3.3 then what it is.
