A7M266-D, 2x MP1800+, 1gb ecc ram --- booting problems

Hi there,

i recently built a DV system with:
Asus A7M266-D mobo
2x MP1800+ procs
2x 512mb Corsair ECC dimms
ATI Radeon 8500DV
SB Audigy Plat.
Adaptec 1200A Raid card
2x WD 60gb 7200rpm hdd's
Pioneer DVD-R/RW
250 zip
enermax 450w whisper PSU

and i'm having some weird boot issues...

CPU0 & CPU1 = hang at POST (thinking that there is no CPU in the 0 socket)
CPU1 = boots fine
CPU0 = no POST

i've tried switching procs... same thing

sounds like a pooched mobo, but what do you guys think? is there some weird setting i need to enable?

if you've run through bios and couldn't turn anything up, that really does sound like that socket is dead, have you checked the manual? if there wasn't anything in there, I would RMA it.
