A7M and Major Windows Freeze.

I just got my new A7M motherboard in with 256MB of crucial PC2100 ram. I also picked up a Athlon 1.33ghz. I formated my harddrive and started installing Windows ME. I wasn't even able to make it through one install without it freezing and having errors. I messed with the bios settings and tried taking the FSB down to 100mhz and then everything worked perfectly. I installed windows and all my drivers. Once I had done that, I went back and changed FSB back to 133mhz. The first time I rebooted afterwords everthing worked great, but every restart after, it would freeze right after it loaded the desktop. Since I switched from my Abit KT7-RAID to this board, I assume it has to be something with the motherboard. I am using a Rage Fury MAXX and Sound Blaster Live. I appreciate any feedback.
