A7A266 missing 32MB of memory!

My friend this motherboard with an Athlon 2000+ and a 512MB DDR stick installed, but he's only seeing 480MB of memory. what gives? he has a PCI graphics card installed (nVidia GeForce2). is there some sort of issue with this board that makes it suck 32MB of the installed RAM?

Make sure the integrated video is turned off in the bios and make sure the first video card option is PCI not AGP or integrated. That would be my educated guess.

Yeah, disable all integrated video, reduce the "shared memory" or "shared framebuffer" to 0MB, and set the video to "Init PCI card first"

Erm...the A7A266 doesn't have integrated video. Have you tried the single 512MB stick in the other DDR slot?
