For a laptop.
What I want to know...I read the other threads, but right now, compared to a 3.2ghz p4 or a dothan 755, with software now...how does the athlon 64 compare? I understand that to fully utilize the abilities of the 64, you need the future software..but right now, how does it stack up with those 2 pentiums in performance..the same, better or less?
Next question, when the future software gets here, how will it compare......will it blow them out of the water?
I do digital photography and dig video. and quite a bit of multitasking. WHich of the three processors mentioned would give the best performance and fastest for doing these, NOW? and which LATER when the 64 bit software comes out? thanks..t
