a64 oc help

Hi I bought an a64 3500 and a msi neo2 939 board. The ram I am using is 1gig of corsair 3700. The system is up and running, but... In bios it says ram is running at 166mhz and fsb at 200. I cant get ram to run any faster ( 200 mhz ) or increase fsb without the mb wigging out and giving no video signal. I have to use jumpers everytime to even get back into bios. Anyone have any insights as to what may be casuing this? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
