It's not like we don't have enough of these threads... you don't even have to search, just scan the freakin front page (title list) of the MB forum, and you'll find several. Look for things along the lines of "motherboard choice" and so on.
 
i would like good performance and overclockability, mainly a gaming machine with little tid bits of other stuff here and there
