I just received the K8V deluxe and installed it today.
I have inside the box:
A64 3000+
512mb Corsair Value ram
Enermax 431W
K8V deluxe

the power is recognized, it does turn on, but nothing shows up on the video, also it doesnt beep, but my speaker may be broken, any suggestions? possible faulty board? any help would be apprecieated, thanks

Are both power connectors connected to the mobo? (The 20 and the 4-pin?)
Try the memory in a different slot.
Reset the CMOS.
Remove/reseat the videocard. Many boards when brand new have a "stiff slot."

Plug in speakers or headphones, post here with the error message. Mine was saying "System failure due to CPU overclocking."
I fixed my problem by installing the ram in the yellow slots. Try moving the ram to a different slot.
