a64 hs/f question...

how are they heatsinks and fans that amd packs with there 64's? Are they as sub-par as the xp heat sink and fans?
 
They get the job done, nothing more nothing less.
If your going to overclock get something else more efficient
 
If you plan on only overclocking to 210-215, the stock setup should be fine as long as you have good air flow through the case. I ran my A64 3200@2.15 on the stock cooler and I never got above 40C on full load.
 
The XP HSFs aren't sub-par, and no, these aren't, either...but also not great for real overclocking, (you can get some OCing done quite safely on XP retail HSFs, too.

But if you want real cool and all...enter Zalman and Thermaltake. If you're in a $$$ crunch, get the retail and see how it does for you. You can always upgrade.
