A64 Heatsinks

Alright, from what I have read these are the heatsinks in order of performance.

1. XP-120
2. Zalman CNPS7000-CU
3. ??...

Is that correct? I would think that an all copper heatsink would outdo an Al one, but that's not what I am hearing. How does the Thermaltake Silent Boost K8 rank with the other two? Any guidance would be appreciated.

2 pounds and tall so that it pulls on the motherboard that little extra bit.

It looks to perform well, but putting something that heavy on there is not something I'd really consider.

Thanks guys. If the xp-90 ever gets back in stock in new egg, I'll get it. Otherwise, would I be ok with the thermal paste that comes with the zalman? Would paying $4 for a syringe of arctic silver make a difference?

Yes I did forget the Hyper 6. It does cool pretty well, but hell the thing weighs like 800+ grams! :Q

As for Price/Performance I think the Zalman AlCU is one of the best.

As for Price/Performance I think the Zalman AlCU is one of the best.

I second that. I didn't want to spend $50+ on an XP-120 so I got the Zalman. Been very happy with it so far plus its around $30 also.

Just to avoid starting a new thread... Does anyone know how the stock A64 retail heatsink/fans rate? Can you do much overclocking on the hetail heatsinks, or will you be running hot even before an overclock?
