Planning to get a 3500 but i do not know what kind of PSU i should be getting. I will not be overclocking the CPU, but might OC the memory.

It would help if you list the rest of the parts you plan on getting. Also, do you plan on staying with this new system for a while, or will you be upgrading often?

Sorry, they are going to be:

radeon 8500LE 128MB
40gig IDE HD
Crucial Ballistix 512MB PC3200
MSI Neo2 Plat.

And yes a few months, maybe less i will be adding a new HD(probably a 72gig 10k), and another stick of the same RAM.
I still have not decided on a case, but right now it is leaning towards the Thermaltake Tsunami or any suggestions :D
and again, no OC'ing the 3500+

A quality 300W PSU will push that easily. However, I would splurge and get something in the 400W+ range for future proofing sake. Especially if you game and might be looking into something newer in the videocard department.

What's your budget for a new PSU?

At least 400W quality PSU should do. Go for OCZ PowerStream or Enermax. Antec TruePower is good as well.

OCZ PowerStream 520W (the one I have :D) rocks. <3

I have an A64 3200 with an 9600xt and 3 hard drives (and 1 dvd drive) and I'm running an Antec True 330 with no issues. I don't think the power requirement for the A64 went up very much over the previous AMD chips.
