A64 3500+ and Neo 2 platinum. What memory?

The Ballistix PC4000 are nice RAM, I have them. However, you don't need the best RAM for good performance on the A64.

Unless you OC, and want to run 1/1, The RAM JBDan suggested will work nice.
 
I am looking to overclock. So in that case what would be a good suggestion?


Amaroque, I see you have the same setup what kind of heatsink, &videocard are you running?
and how does that crucial run in your system?

Did you read this ? Its more like, if you have the $ to blow then go for the "LL/highspeed/fancy" RAM.
This is what I did and got the xl series of Corsair. After reading that link I linked ya I cried. lol Seriously check it out. The A64 platform does not require getting "extreme" RAM. It prefers the lower latencies which can be easily acheived with "value" RAM. RAM divider is KEY here. 😉
