Ughhhh. Got the board up to 2.9. Ran all night long just fine. Ran Thief for over 2 hours just fine. This moring I decide to **** with a fan while the rig is on, slpice a wire and connect to another....hot wire shorted out on mobo. It is now dead. I swapped out all of theprats and still no dice. I have no idea what else in my rig is fried, have not checked any of it yet. I am just sick. ()*%#&😉(*@!#^%)*&@%)*@#&^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be so pissed if my Chip is dead. Thank god my X800XT/PE is with ViperJohn getting modded and was not in my rig. I had a 9800Pro in there, no biggie if it fried. Got the RMA # from NewEgg just a bit ago...looks like another week or so before any benches now. But that is cool, I willl have mt XT/PE back from Viper with all of the volt mods done to it by then!!! I just hope the new mobo treats me as well. Cant believe I messed around with hhot wires while the rig was one, what was I thinking....

How dumb do you have to be to post something like this to a public forum? Reminds me of the guy who destroyed his transimission in his WRX drag racing or something and was getting it replaced under warantee, then he posted to a Subaru forum and the members told the dealer, and there was a bill waiting for him with a printout of his thread.
Power to the people. Updstanding citizens do not have to stand idle while criminals rip us off.

Ummm, this is BS. If you break a transmission in a car it doesn't matter why. If the transmission will not hold up to the cars stock power it is DEFECTIVE.
OTOH he must have really drove it like sh*t to break it. The stock trannys on these things is good for 400 HP. The clutch should have failed first anyway. Tell him to learn how to clutch.
