If I buy the retail version of this that comes with a heat sink and fan, do I still need to buy thermal paste seperatly or is everything I need included in the retail box? Thanks.
 
its comes with some called shin etsu. Its good stuff but if you ever have to take it off you will be screwed and might need some more. So it depends if you think u will be have to take it off sooner or later.
 
The OEM cooler on the A64s is actually quite good. You should have everything you need in the retail CPU package to mildly cool/overclock.

Although I sound like a hypocrite since I use Arctic Silver 5 now but only because I applied/reapplied/applied my Heatsink too many times to reuse the thermal pad on the Heatsink.
