Hey guys, 1st post, long time reader. I have a quick question about overclocking and hope you can help me. I did indeed read the sticky on the front page but would rather have some more direct help. First off I am using a Biostar Tforce 6100 939 board with 1GB(2x512) of Geil value ram, the one with the blue heat spreader. I have the newest core of the 3200+ processor. I want just a mild overclock to about 2.2GHz from the stock 2.0. These are the options I have in my MB BIOS:
CPU Volt. Reglator
Mem Volt.
CPU Freq.
Hammer FID Control
HT Freq.
PCIE Clock
Memclock Freq.
1T/2T Mem Timing
Other Specific Memory Timings

I just want to know what the best route would be to get the requested speed as well as the performance that accompanies it. I thank-you all who read this and hope you can help me out.

Well guys I went into the BIOS and set my HT Freq to 4x and set the mem to 166 and bumped the cpu freq to 225 for an effective speed of 2.25 GHz and CPU-Z identifies it as such. Processor runs at 28-29C on idle. Does this sound good for the stock cooling? I also have an 80mm fan blowing directly onto the processor as well. If anyone has any other recomendations, please feel free to chime in.
