Which Athlon 64 Newcastle CPU would you get - see poll...

BTW, those are Polish prices. Hardware in Europe is costly so please don't yell "damn, that's expensive, don't get either!!!" :D

I'd get the 3200 and overclock it. :)

Btw....those prices are pretty high for the A64's. Are you forced to order it locally or something? Newegg has the 3200 for like $208-220 and the 3400 for $280 or so. Now at those prices I would get the 3400...but that's me.

I definitely want to fool around with OCing a bit :) However, you can overclock both CPUs...

Hell, if Newegg shipped to Poland, I'd get all my new hardware from them. I wouldn't want to RMA though :D

Ahhh...well that makes more sense then. :D

In that case get the 3200. The NC 3200's seem to be hitting 2.4 ghz (stock speed of the 3400) with relative ease. Now the 3400 in theory should OC higher...but it's really just luck of the draw and the extra $100 bux or so isn't worth it IMHO.

Get the 3200+, you'll be paying too much of a premium just to pick up a few megahertz with the 3400+

Peace

Thanks for your opinions. Looks like the 3200 is crushing the 3400 in my little poll :D
