I have a Atholon 64 3200 with a MSI NEO 4 F motherboard. I need some help overclocking it. It seems i cant get passed 239 front side bus. I turned the memory clock to 100 and turned cpu multiplier to 5x and i get to about 229 FSB. Then i have to up the voltage on the board chipset to 1.6 and i hit 239FSB. After that it will not post. I turned off spread spectrum and turned the HTT multiplier to 2.5x. Any tips? I am running 1.9 Bios version also.

OK guys i found a problem. I changed bios to 1.6 and wow what a difference. Alot more OC options too. I had the FSB on the 1.9 bios tapping out at 239. Just chainging the bios to 1.6 i am now capable of getting 340 FSB. Note thats with the memory and cpu clock turned down. I was also able to boot into windows, browsed a few web pages and then restarted. At 350 it wouldnt post. This was at 1.6 N4 volts.

I then tried clocking the ram. Got ram up to 330 @ 2.85 volts and it seemed stable. Booting windows, loading programs etc... ran for a good 15 min. This was with cpu clock turned down also. At 335 my ram failed. This was at 1T command also.

I then tried OC on the cpu by turning down the memory divider to 100. I was running 1.54 volts and could only get to 2.4GHZ. at 250FSB * 10 it would fail. kinda dissapointing. I thought the cpu would go higher.

Any tips ??
