It'd be better to get Mushkin Level 2 3500 or OCZ 3500 Platinum and run them at tight timings esp since they will satisfy FSB of 216 at those tight timings as well vs. 4200 at lose timings that has pointless headroom in your case. (unless you intend to use this memory later on... in that case DDR-II will be the standard by then anyways)

And considering 9800XT is $100 more than 9800Pro 256mb, you are paying $100 for 10% improvement in games...and Radeon 9800 Pro is $70 cheaper with 128mb. You might as well get a Raptor Hard drive for real world performance difference (faster load times in games, etc.) or put $170 aside towards the new generation of cards in the spring. I mean lets face it the 9800XT is a great card but for next generation of games its not gonna be so great anymore and its $430 price tag suddenly seems unjustified considering it offers 20% faster performance at best vs. Radeon 9800 128mb Pro at 62% higher cost.

Of course I cant tell you how to spend your money its just a suggestion.

Maybe I'll grab 2 raptors and raid them and keep my 9800 np for the time being, as it is clocked at above pro speeds right now
