to answer yanagi, i heard that leakage problems like the prescott are getting worse in 90 nm, even though the voltage is lower. the main reason they aren't out though is that amd can'y make them as fast as the 130 nm chips yet. they can get them stable at 2 ghz easy but can't make more than a few that can do 2.6
results of my voltage testing:
I tried testing mine at 1.20 V at 2 ghz-no go
underclocked to 1.8ghz(2800 speed) it booted up. asus probe measured the voltage at an incredible 1.16 volts, and it passed some benchmarks just fine! the temperature monitor showed the temp of the cpu dropping as soon as i loaded it. when it stableized under load the temp was at 37 for the processor, 39 for the motherboard, with a case temp of 34i haven't played with cool n quiet yet, but this will stay pretty cool in the winter.
