A5's working with a subwoofer; recs?

I purchased a set of Audioengine A5's and LOVE them! They are phenomenal. Absolutely. I am looking for a tight musical sub that is small. I don't want a wall shaking sound unless the musician expected my walls to shake. Also, I don't have much space because I am in a smallish room, 8' x 12'. My budget is capped at 200, 250... what would you recommend for the A5s?

I meant whole subwoofer dimensions.

Just for example, here's a 10" subwoofer that's 15"x19"x21" and weighs 60 pounds.

Compare that with a typical 10" sub you'd get at a retail store that's maybe 1/3 the volume (as in cubic inches) and 1/3 the weight...

Well, for on the whole smallish, what would be a good brand and model series? Something I guess around 13x13x14 or smaller?

The standard dayton (not as good as the Dayton Elites from what I understand) is small-ish at 11x15x14

The x-sub is tall but narrow
9x13x18 (There were two revisions of this though, and the sizes were slightly different)

I was going to suggest that. I have it and love it. It goes great with my Dayton BR-1 bookshelf speakers.
