I recently bought A4 Tech's optical wireless mouse model rfsop-48. It came with Ni-Mh batteries. With Ni-mh batteries or using other alkaline batteries, they all last approximately 4 weeks.

is this normal? I think it should last like 3 months like the microsoft's intellimouse series.

any owners out there?

Edited for your model, this review below,

I found that for the first few charges the batteries didn?t last much more than 2 days, but after 2 weeks of use the batteries seem to last for 5-6 days before needing a recharge.

Link( RP-648 model).

It uses the low 1400mAH batteries, you probably better off going for higher capacity NiMH batteries for longer battery life usage between charges, nowadays you can buy 4x 2400mAH "AA" batteries and charger pretty cheap.
