But the guys at Hardforums are working on microcode, in the BIOS, next to see if that is the key. RiStaR is also working on sending a low signal to the pin to see if its a hi/lo switch rather than off/on. Alot of the effort has to do with Japanese sites working with HT in Williamette and Northwood cores using a modified Linux kernel. If software could activate the HT function then they'll figure it out. It may be a Windows issue just as much as a BIOS issue. Then again, some interconnections may simply not be connected on the chips and al this is futile. Aww, the challenge of proving the truth...
