My motorcycle helmet will accept a stream via A2DP .
Is there a MP3/FM portable player? Hopefully one that has a large capacity.

My phone battery would last about 3 hours if I streamed music without charging it.

The ipod touch would do the trick. And for what its worth, I stream music from my droid x via a2dp at work for hours at a time and it doesn't seem to affect battery life much.

If you prefer a larger hdd based ipod you can get something like this: http://www.google.com/products/cata...a=X&ei=TvNGTtDuNcKtsAKcyoCSCA&ved=0CFMQ8wIwAQ

but if cost was no concern I'd be using a 64gb iphone or ipod touch (do they even make a 64gb iphone?) I'm pretty sure you can get the ipod touch in 64 gb.

Yes, the Cowon J3 does this.

http://www.amazon.com/COWON-Portable.../ref=de_a_smtd

The spec page on Cowon's site says it's supported but I can't link to the direct page (I have one but never used bluetooth, )

It's what I have... and it's fantastic. Cowon is touted as having top tier audio quality and unmatched battery life. It has full 5 band EQ for customizing your audio flavor and IMO sounds fantastic. There's also a 16gig and 8gig version plus it has a micro SD slot for expansion up to another 32gig right now.
