Haven't paid attention to AMD's CPU for awhile but that looks mighty interesting. Wonder what a good MB pairing would be.

Athlon X4 860K, which runs about $70-$80, is on my radar. Think it is the same chip as the A10-7850K, with the APU video disabled. Best bang for the buck right now if you plan to use a strong video card for gaming.

I like my FM1 quad, a good all around chip. But APU pc gaming is being held back by DDR3.

APU is not as great as it looks on paper.

When using the iGPU for gaming, the cpu cores have been reported to downclock below base clocks.
