Hows the power consumtion of the A10-5800K, and does it have GCN shader processors on the IGP? If not, then Kabini might be a better choice, for some things.

However, I already have a nice A85X mobo, that I could use an A10-5800K in to complete the build. Only problem is, I don't know what I would do with it after it's built.

Edit: Here's the mobo at Newegg:

Only has three eggs. Basically, it's not worth much more than "free".

Good deal if you are upgrading from a Core 2 Duo. I just upgraded a Duo to a fast Quad. $80 off Ebay. Seems the performance of these two processors is about the same for most tests other than encryption (the AMD is way faster).

No HDMI and a rebate == I'm not interested.

Edit: Could be a decent deal for some though, if you need case fans, and don't mind filling out three rebates for them.
