A. Zinardi looses legs in CART race...

... which was sadly renamed "American Memorial 500" in Germany earlier this week. He lost control of his car coming out of the pits (supposedly going too fast) and slid over the grass into the track and was struck broadside by another drive going 200+ mph. Had some other injuries, like a broken pelvis, but fortunately no internal injuries....

A damn shame! I heard about last Saturday night on Speed World. He is lucky to be alive after seeing the crash! Alex was a GREAT driver and will be missed, but at least he is alive.
