Indonesia has caled for Musilms of the world to unite against America. cnn.com Think if they actually did unite globally against Americans aboard as well as here at home.

I heard that indonesian authorities were taking measures to proect americans in the area from those groups u mentioned.

Since saudi arabia just cancelled relations with afghanistan I think its safe to say that most of Islam's official position is not to support what happened.
 
Not worldwide. It's known that the Indonesians(Those backminded ones) are always not right in their minds. Other countries are supporting the Act against terrorism.!
 
Practically speaking, aside from "Jihad" being overused by fanatics, there may be more of a holy war against the militant Islamics by the rest of the world.

Who in the world doesn't want a McDonalds or multiplex cinema or porn on their TV😉 (besides the French?)
