By major paths, I mean that I updated Winamp and Windows, to no avail.
So my problem is that when I click on Winamp, it is very stubborn about giving up window focus. I have to force it to minimize to get focus on another window. Even task manager is helpless against this bullying.
I was wondering if there was some sort of setting I might have clicked, either in Winamp or Windows, that is making it behave this way. I have found no such setting in Winamp, and wouldn't even know where to think about checking in Windows. Even TweakUI does not seem to have any settings that would make a window behave this way.
My only solution so far has been to use my backup comp (with XMMS) and my XBox to play music. I would really hate to give up Winamp, considering I have been using it since my 486 days, but this is irritating me to the point of wanting to use inferior products. (I tried Sonique a long time ago, and used iTunes to load my dad's iPod, and even use WMP to sync my Sansa m240, but for actually playing music, these programs pale in comparison for speed and a simple, intuitive interface.
Thanks in advance.
