Finally!

Guys and Gals, I hope someone can help me out here, I have a very annoying problem with IE5.5 SP1 under Win2K Workstation (Service Pack 2).

Problems: I am sure you all familiar with the text boxes on the web where you enter you username, password or anything else (Message Title when posting in this forum). Well, all of a sudden each time I type something in such a text box, either in Hotmail, yahoo, this forum .. really anywhere you want, and I press TAB or click the mouse button to go to the next field, the browser hangs for around 4-5 minutes!!.

Well, so far I've tried clearing Cache/history/AutoComplete features.. nothing helps!
Actually it happened to me again when I wrote the Message Title and thats why I typed FINALLY :)

Anyone has any ideas?!?!

Thanks,

Oren.

Give the "Repair" function a try. When you try to add/remove IE 5.5, you'll see that you have a couple of options, one of which is "Repair". No guarantees, but if you are lucky this will do the trick. And, if it doesn't work this time, it may some other time.

Since you are using Win2K, you may have a problem if you don't have sufficient rights to modify your software, in which case you might have to get somebody with administrator rights to do it.

It just started all of a sudden .. :(
