I was using my pc just a few minutes ago and suddenly my monitor blacked out and I saw a green line at the top of my screen. I had to reboot my PC in order to get my screen going, this is the first time this has ever happend to me.

I'm using a Geforce 2 GTS graphics card with the Nvidia 12.81 detenator drivers under Win98 SE, with a ViewSonic A75f monitor. My cables are connected correctly and all. I'm using a Iwill KK266-R motherboard with VIA 4-in-1 4.33 drivers with the the AGP set to Turbo.

Anyone have any ideas to what this could be? Should I set the AGP to normal speed rather than Turbo mode with the 4 in 1 drivers?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same video card and drivers, and that's happened to me a few times before. It seems to be a "normal" sort of stall, though I'm not really sure what causes it. If anyone else here knows the specifics, I too would be interested in hearing them

Yeah, I have never experienced this before I installed the 12.81 Nvidia drivers and the 4.33 VIA drivers with the Turbo setting on the AGP. Right now I just installed the VIA 4.34 drivers with the AGP set to Normal. Right now I'm downloading the new 12.83 Detinator drivers from Nvidia in hopes I never have this happen a second time. I think it has to do with my Turbo setting which is causing some instablility. Not sure yet though.

Just gonna have to wait and see I suppose.
