a webpage will display if it is www.domainname.com and not domainname.com ?

anyone knows why it does that ? I typ www.domain_name.com, then it will load the page but it won't load the page when I type domain_name.com, instead it gave me a message "HTTP 400- Bad Request "

There needs to be an a-record for both addresses. Some sites only have the www configured...while some do both. Its mostly preference of the person setting up the DNS records...I do both.

aaa I found it, I did have both as A-record but being assigned with different ips. Do you think it is a problem? I just changed it to point to 1 ip
