A way to update RC5 buffers without using uplink.

Is there ways of updating buffers without doing it with a cable? F.ex using a floppy instead. Are there any smart programs?

There certainly is! While im not the one that can tell you how, it will only be an hour or two before someone that can help will stop by.

Yes you can use a floppy to transfer the buffers from one computer to another.

You can move the buffer that you want (normally buff-in.rc5 and buff-out.rc5) to a floppy and then use the dnet -import <buffer name> command to import it to another client's buffer. Even if you rename the buffer the client will understand if it is in or out.

Do not forget to make a backup before transferring the buff-out.rc5 file as the floppies are not reliable.
