Question A way to get notification if the wifi router is not working

NickValentine

I have a cabin with wifi, where I rely on the wifi to control the heating/ovens. The system that I use (Mill Smart Plug) does not give me an error warning or similar if they are not connected. I can see it in the app, but would mean that I would have to check regularly,

(The cabin is in cold climate, so I need to make sure that there is some heating in it)

Therefore, is there a (easy) way to fget notified if the wifi router has stopped working? (This happened once recently, and several days went by until I became aware of it)
If the internet in the area is down, I will get a notification from the ISP, but I want to get notified if the wifi router somehow stoppes working/stops sending signals
