This is a pretty easy scam alot of sellers got going for them. They falsely advertise on purpose and send you a product that is faaaar from described. Why would they do this? Suppose if the item closed for $5 and the shipping was $11. Once you recieved the item and realized that the seller send you an item that was not as advertise you can either 1. ask for a refund or 2. Paypal dispute.

Most seller are willing to refund you the $5, but will not pay for the shipping expense. In this case it would cost you $5.50 to ship it back. Why would do that and lose $.50?

If you do a paypal dispute, Paypal rules that if an items is significantly not as described, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping it back Once again, $5.50 to ship it back for a $5 refund minus the item.

What I've learned, stay away from items that cost less than the shipping. The seller can send you a rock if they want and paypal and ebay's policy alllows them to get away with it.
