If there is a movie you might want to go watch with your significant other or alone (depending what your movie
style is), I would recommend this one.

It is one of the most touching movies I've seen in a LONG time!

The story was incredible.

Crazy/Beautiful is another good one to see, as well as (my favorite) Chasing Amy.

I watched it with my fiance the other day. All she kept saying throughout the movie was "yup, that happened in the book". Got quite annoying... ;)

Unfortunately, I have seen this movie. I hated it. The whole movie seemed incredibly stupid to me. It was a little too cheesy, and obviously it was meant to be a "tear jerker" - I didn't let it have its way. :D The chicks in the room were crying though. Ugh. There were so many stupid things, and the people were so damn fake... also, predictable. Why does anybody like these "chick flicks"? Ugh, they drive me nuts. Why would I want to watch something that's trying to make me feel sad? What if I could relate to the story, too? Probably be 100x worse. Why would I want that? No thanks... I'd rather watch violent releases of Robocop DVDs. :p :D

The movie I mentioned above is not for everyone. If you do not like that type of movie, then so be it. We all have our own tastes. I personally found the acting
quite good. Shane West in this movie acts a lot better then in the movie "Get Over it". Then again, in "Get Over it", the story wasn't as good so couldn't quite really
judge acting that well.

As for "A Walk to Remember", what did you find cheesy about it? It had a powerful message behind the story. Most chick flicks don't. As for the people predictable, that's debatable, it doesn't quite follow the 'standard' formula of a chick flick if that is what you are referring to. Like I said previously, these movies are not for everyone. If you don't like it, nobody forces you to watch it. A friend of mine once said....no explosions? no naked chicks? no violence? not interested! (just to tell you your not alone).

me and 2 of my friends were set up and trapped into watching this movie by a group of girlfriends... it was pretty bad, extremely cheesy, and very predictable. Now I'm not just saying that just to mantain my manhood, because I do admittingly have to hold back the tears during some movies, but this one was just plain corny and did not deserve a single drop. Crazy beautiful on the other hand I can admit to being a pretty decent movie for being a chick flick.
