A Walk in the Woods, Nolte seems perfect, but Robert Redford as Bill Bryson???

I haven't seen it (I read the book over the summer, have read another Bryson book, A Short History of Nearly Everything). I saw a photo in the paper of Redford and Nolte from the movie and I have to say that Nick Nolte looks like the perfect Stephen Katz, but Robert Redford strikes me as a totally miscast Bill Bryson. There's just no way in the world he could pull that off. He has the alliterative name, but the personality? Nope.

It's Nolte, I think.

But, I wasn't pleased with the casting choices. I haven't seen it yet either, but reading the book I kept picturing Simon Pegg (as Bryson) and Nick Frost. :p

I'll still see it at some point (probably not in the theater though).

Robert Redford is miscast as anything except maybe an alcoholic lecher imo.

Saw him in that flick where he's on a boat and it was terrible; Pee Wee Herman would have made that a better movie.
