A Video Card? What Should I Do?

My computer does not work well. I decided to re-equipped with a computer. About motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Motherboards/C...?Tpk=mainboard.
I think Z77 series should be all right.
However, my family say that video card is important. They want to play some big games, such as BF3 and more. Both of them agree that Zotac GTX680-2GD5 is pretty good. It is a little expensive, I think.
What should I do? Any suggestion?

Go with a 7970 GHz, less expensive and should suit your needs better if you don't plan on crossfire (CFX is kind of a mess right now)
